**NOTE** There is no cell phone service in Horsefly and surrounding area. There will be internet available at the venue via Starlink.

Horsefly is in the heart of the Cariboo B.C. It's 72 Km from Williams Lake (about a 45 min drive on paved road). Situated in the foothills of the Cariboo Mountains you will enjoy spectacular views as you drive into the village.

The Cariboo district is cattle country. After the forest industry, tourism is the second most important business sector followed by agriculture.

If you decide to stay in Williams Lake, rather than Horsefly, we will be arranging a shuttle service to and from the wedding on the day of the celebration. However, we do recommend you have your own transport so you can explore the surroundings.

Arriving by Air

The nearest international airport is Vancouver.

The nearest domestic airports are Williams Lake (1 hour drive) or Kamloops and Prince George (approx. 3 hour drive)

The domestic airports are served by Pacific Coastal, Air Canada, WestJet or Central Mountain Air.

Driving from Vancouver to Horsefly is around 600 Kms (7 hour drive).

Driving from Kamloops is about 4 hours.

Driving from Calgary (If you want to see Banff) is 12 hours non stop.
