The Rehearsal - August 7th

Members of the wedding party are requested to arrive at the Sunshine Ranch on 7 August at 1:00 PM for a rehearsal of the day's events.

The Wedding Day - August 8th

The Morning After

Those who are able are kindly invited to help with the venue clean-up the following morning. We'll be enjoying breakfast on site before making the most of our time together in and around Horsefly. Whether you join us for a helping hand, an adventure, or simply a relaxed morning with friends and family, we'd love to continue the celebrations with you.

Post Wedding Adventures -  August 10th & 11th

Depending on interest and weather, activities may include tubing on the river, hiking to some of the area's beautiful waterfalls, or spending time on the lake. The current thinking is: Monday, August 10thDay trip by boat to Suey Bay/Archie Creek Falls. Bring swimming gear, drinks, snacks, BBQ food &amp; something warm for the way back (it gets windy). Tuesday, August 11thGentle hike to Horsefly Falls. Wear good shoes, comfortable clothes and pack bug spray &amp; sun lotion. We look forward to celebrating with you!

IMPORTANT: There is no cell phone service in Horsefly and surrounding area. There will be internet available at the venue via Starlink. Horsefly is in the heart of the Cariboo B.C. It's 72 Km from Williams Lake (about a 45 min drive on paved road). Situated in the foothills of the Cariboo Mountains you will enjoy spectacular views as you drive into the village. We recommend you have your own transport so you can explore the surroundings. Car Hire - William's LakeThere is an Enterprise Car Hire office in Williams Lake. Arriving by AirThe nearest international airport is Vancouver.The nearest domestic airports are Williams Lake (1 hour drive) or Kamloops and Prince George (approx. 3 hour drive). The domestic airports are served by Pacific Coastal, Air Canada, WestJet or Central Mountain Air. We are planning some hiking and sightseeing activities after the wedding so try to stay a few days if you can. Camping and RVsIf you are bringing an RV or camping gear there will be space at the venue to set up and camp.
